01.Council Constitution
- Member of AssemblyThe assembly members are representatives of the residents elected by popular, equal, direct, and secret vote. The Yesan County Council is composed of 11 assembly members.
- Chairperson/Vice-chairpersonAmong the assembly members, one chairperson and one vice-chairperson are elected through a secret vote, and their term is two years. The chairperson represents the council, organizes proceedings, maintains order within the conference hall, and supervises the council administration. The vice-chairperson takes over the chairperson’s duties when the chairperson is not able to conduct them.
- CommitteeThe committee establishes a special committee through the resolution of a general meeting and puts bills to deliberation in order to take care of measures and petitions under its jurisdiction.
- Council Administration DivisionThe Council Administration Division, installed to take care of the council’s administrative affairs, is composed of the chief administrator and necessary staff members.
